The Special People EP is a little taste of what's to come in September when I finally get to let everyone hear the album I've been working on for so long. I holed up in Big Jelly Studios in Ramsgate for three weeks last September with Chris Hayden in the producers chair. There are five songs on the EP, some old and some new, four are mine and one is a cover of The Velvet Underground. Margo Broom co-produced and mixed the title track, 'Gargoyle' is on there which was recorded and mixed by Harry Armstrong at Canterbury Christ church University and there are two rough cuts from the album sessions last September. The band and I are hitting the road in support of the release. Catch us at our headline shows in May.

lyrics
Home, I’ll be home, just give me a little while
There’s just one thing you should know, I’m a living breathing child
Home, I’ll be home so wait up by the window
and I’ll call your name then vanish when the wind blows
Home I’ll be home, so don’t worry about me,
This place is dead, enclosed in lead
and I’m tired of being free
There’s something going on round here, I think I’d rather die,
There’s a monster in the ocean and a leper in the sky
Let it go. You know I love you baby, you know it’s true, I wouldn’t last a second in your shoes. Yeah I love you girl, you know it’s true, but I wouldn’t last a second in your shoes, no.
Let it go
Home, I’ll be home, are you still hanging around here?
Coz I’m fed up and I’m growing up and I’m moving to Bel Air.
There's a boy in the back of a supermarket holding Daddy’s hand,
Theres a girl with a look, she’s an open book, and she’s foiled the master plan.
Home I’ll be home, is it too late to come? A boy with a broken backbone
and a Mother for a Son.
Let it go
You know I love you honey, you know it’s true, I wouldn’t last a second in your shoes. Yeah you know I love you girl, you know it’s true, but I wouldn’t last a second in your shoes.
